Jakarta (Antara) – The largest construction and engineering industry exhibition in Southeast Asia, Indonesia Energy & Engineering Series 2025 (IEE Series 2025), will be held at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran on 10-13 September and 17-20 September 2025.
The event became a forum for the synergy of government, business actors, and international partners to encourage innovation and sustainable infrastructure development.
Country Manager Pamerindo Indonesia Lia Indriasari at the Pamerindo office located in Gatot Subroto said, IEE Series is not a project implementer, but a meeting room for stakeholders who can spur the transformation of the construction and engineering sector.
“As part of the IEE Series, the Indonesian Construction Exhibition and the Concrete Show South East Asia, is expected to be a place to exchange strategies, innovations, and collaboration across concrete sectors,” he said.
The exhibition will highlight technology that is in line with national priorities such as green infrastructure, net energy transitions, and 3 million housing units. Modular solutions, environmentally friendly materials, and smart building technology are the main focus to answer the challenges of efficiency, productivity, and limited resources.
According to Lia, this event also opened a discussion about alternative financing, investment incentives, and a model of government-private partnership (PPP).
“The success of the construction sector transformation cannot only rely on the state budget, but rather requires a wider synergy of multicectors,” he said.
With a population of 278 million people and gross domestic product (GDP) which reached 1.4 trillion in the United States dollar or around Rp21,280 trillion (exchange rate of Rp15,200 per US dollar), Indonesia occupies a strategic position as the largest construction market in Southeast Asia, especially in the fields of housing and commercial buildings.
Demand for basic infrastructure such as net energy, transportation, and public facilities open up investment opportunities and technology transfer.
