Sydney Sweeney acknowledges the disappointing box office results of Christy, the R-rated biographical drama where she portrays pioneering boxer Christy Martin.

The story also portrays the physical abuse she endured from her coach-turned-husband and his attempt on her life. Critics offered mixed reviews,though many praised Sweeney’s performance,spanning martin’s life over two decades,as award-worthy.
