The 77th Emmy Awards are poised to be a star-studded affair,celebrating the best in television with a live broadcast from Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater on Sunday,September 14th,at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS. Creative Arts Emmy Awards: Early Winners Emerge
The excitement for the Primetime Emmys is already building, following the success of the Creative Arts Emmy Awards held the previous weekend. HBO Max’s “The Penguin” and Apple TV+’s “The Studio” were major forces on night one, racking up significant wins. Night two saw NBC’s “SNL50: The Anniversary Special” take center stage, securing seven awards.
Currently, “The Studio” leads the overall winner count with nine awards, closely followed by “The Penguin” with eight. “SNL50: The Anniversary Special” has earned seven wins, while “Severance,” “Andor,” “Arcane,” “Love, Death + Robots,” and “The Traitors” have each claimed four awards. Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen have been selected to jointly receive the Television Academy’s prestigious Bob Hope Humanitarian Award.
