Tamara Heribanová Undergoes Gallbladder Surgery
Slovak writer and journalist Tamara Heribanová is recovering from a scheduled gallbladder surgery, she announced to her fans via social media. The surgery, which she described as “more of a matter of time” due to family history, will require a few weeks of recovery.
Family Background and Career
Tamara Heribanová is the daughter of well-known Slovak television personality Alena Heribanová and writer, scenarist, and film director Jozef Heriban [1]. She has followed in her parents’ footsteps, establishing herself as a writer and journalist, and occasionally appearing as a presenter.
Heribanová is often seen at social events accompanied by her husband, photographer Braňo Šimončík, or her sister, Barbara Jagušák.
Surgery and Recovery
Addressing her followers, Heribanová shared that she will be taking a break from public appearances while she recovers. “Guys, if you see me in my pajamas for the next few days, it will be for a reason. I’m on a strict diet and a few weeks of recovery from scheduled gallbladder surgery. It runs in the family, so it was more of a matter of time. I’m glad I dealt with it now and not in a worse mood later,” she posted alongside a photo from the hospital.
