Teddy Riner Prepares for Final Olympic Games
Five-time Olympic judo champion Teddy riner, 36, is back in training and looking forward to the Los Angeles 2028 Games – his last. He emphasizes the importance of “pleasure” in his readiness, especially as he works to regain his peak physical condition after gaining 15 extra kilos. Riner participated in only one competition following the Paris Games.
“For now, I’m getting back into it slowly and we’re not putting pressure on ourselves,” Riner stated during a press conference for the Riner Cup, a judo competition for amateur athletes. The second edition of the Riner Cup will be held November 15 and 16 in Clichy, France.
When will you compete again?
Riner recently resumed training after a ten-day break.
