Colombian authorities have confirmed the arrest of Harold Andrey Echeverry Orozcohe alleged murderer of a 14-year-old girl, murdered and dismembered last Thursday night, a femicide committed in a neighborhood in the town of Cali (southwest of the country).
This was reported by the director of the Colombian Police, General William Salamanca, who assured that “he was captured in the city of Villavicencio”, capital of the center of Meta. Echeverry is accused “of having taken the girl’s life Michel González Sierra“.
“He will be transferred from the city of Villavicencio to Cali, where he will be placed at the disposal of the Attorney General’s Office,” said Salamanca.
The crime, which has caused shock in Colombia, occurred when the minor was sent by her father to do some shopping at the market in the San Judas neighborhood of Cali, capital of the department of Valle del Cauca.
“Upon his return to the residence, apparently, he was taken to a workshop deceived“said the commander of the Cali Police, General Daniel Gualdrón, who explained that when the police arrived they saw “traces of blood” in the establishment.
