The parents of Carlos Leon, the natural soldier of El Viso del Alcor (Seville) died on December 21 in military maneuvers in Cerro Muriano (Córdoba), they will present a complaint this Friday against the captain in command of the exercise and the entire chain of command.

As the Sevillian lawyer explained to EFE Luis Romero, who is in charge of representing the parents, the complaint will be registered tomorrow in the Court of Instruction number 4 of Córdoba, where it has already been presented as a private accusation.

The intention of the complaint is to define the possible responsibilities of the captain and the rest of the commanders in the death of the young man from Seville, 24 years old, and the corporal Miguel Ángel Jiménez Andújar.

The event took place early in the morning when military maneuvers were being carried out in an aquatic environment with temperatures of up to 4 degrees, specifically in an area next to the reservoir of Guadanuño, which is part of the military installations.

The group of soldiers were carrying out a “basic training program” in the aquatic environment consisting of buoyancy with equipment, while trying to confirm the causes that motivated the dispersion of the soldiers at a given time.
