Update on The Rascalz,Dezmond Xavier TNA Contract Status

The Rascalz have officially reunited in TNA,and fans are already watching to see what the next chapter holds for the well-known group. Dezmond Xavier, formerly Wes Lee in WWE NXT, made his return to TNA during Turning Point on Friday night. Joining Myron Reed, Zachary Wentz, and Trey Miguel, the reunited group secured a win over The System, marking a strong return that pleased fans who have followed their journey across multiple promotions.

While the in-ring reunion generated excitement, the situation behind the scenes adds another layer of interest. According to reports,Xavier is currently not signed to a full-time TNA contract. Creative plans for him do exist within the company, suggesting continued involvement in the short term. However, without a contract commitment, his long-term status remains uncertain. WentzS contract is believed to expire on January 1, placing him near free agency as well. The contract status of Reed and Miguel remains unconfirmed, leaving the full status of the group unresolved. This uncertainty surrounding multiple members raises the possibility that the entire unit could become available for negotiations outside of TNA.

Given the active wrestling landscape and increasing talent movement, The Rascalz are expected to attract interest from other promotions should they reach the free agent market. Their previous work together, combined with individual achievements, demonstrates proven chemistry, recognizable branding, and a dedicated fan base. A reunited Rascalz squad offers value to any roster, and the possibility of them being available – together or separately – will likely draw significant attention.

Xavier’s return follows his release from WWE in October, a departure considered unexpected at the time.He initially joined WWE in late 2020, achieving success as a two-time NXT Tag Team Champion alongside Wentz (as Nash Carter) and also capturing the North American Championship. His return to TNA represents a new opportunity, even as the long-term plan remains open.

For now, The Rascalz are active, reunited, and winning matches, but the negotiation season may soon become the real story.
