The body of the late British actor Julian Sands was identified in California, authorities reported Tuesday, after hikers found human remains in the Mount Saint Anthony weekend.
Sands, who rose to fame with the film “A Room with a View” (1985), starring alongside Helena Bonham Carter, disappeared on January 13 in this mountainous region known as Monte Baldy, about 3,000 meters high and which is on the outskirts of The Angels.
Hikers found human remains in this region early Saturday morning, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
“The identification process of the body found on Mount Baldy on June 24, 2023 was completed, and it has been identified as Julian Sands, 65 years old,” the same office reported on Tuesday.
“The cause of death is still being investigated. pending further examination.
