Officers working on the investigation of the disappearance of Antonio Tuñas, the resident of Mazaricos, in La Coruña, who was lost in December of last year, have confirmed to the family that the man’s skull has been located.
Family sources have confirmed this to Europa Press, explaining that the researchers have told them that the discovery and the correspondence with the 72-year-old man has been confirmed through DNA testing.
The same sources have indicated that the remains would have been located on a track on the border of Mazaricos and Outes, and that the investigation remains open.
“They have told us that we will see if next week they can tell us something more. The search continues for the body and how the skull could have arrived at the location,” they explained.
The missing person’s vehicle had been found shortly after the disappearance in Carballo, in La Coruña.
