Huawei Mate X7: what we certainly know So Far

JAKARTA – Leaks are surfacing ahead of the Huawei Mate 80 series launch next november in China, revealing details about Huawei’s newest foldable cellphone, the Mate X7. Trusted leaker Digital Chat Station (DCS) claims the device, codenamed Delphi, will debut alongside the Mate 80 series.

The DCS report indicates the Huawei Mate X7 will feature an inward-folding design, similar to competitors like the Samsung Galaxy Fold.For durability, Huawei uses ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) so the screen remains strong yet flexible when folded.

Under the hood, the Mate X7 is expected to run on the Kirin 9000s chip. This chip is Huawei’s key component for delivering high performance without relying on imported parts.
