The three sisters Paityn (9), Evelyn (8) and Olivia decker (5) were supposed too visit their father, Travis Decker at the end of May.
They never returned to their mother.
This led to US police searching for them.
## Were suffocated
Three days later they were found killed at the Rock Island campsite in the state of Washington, writes ABC News.
The girls had plastic bags over their heads and hands stripped together.

The autopsy afterwards concluded that all three were suffocated to death.
The father’s car was also at the campsite. The tailgate apparently had “two handprints with blood”.
The 32-year-old himself was no place.
The father was wanted, and a bounty of around 200,000 kroner was also promised for information that could help him to be taken.
Only now in September was the father found.
Travis Decker, Suspected in Triple Killing, Declared Dead
A man suspected of a triple homicide, Travis Decker, has been declared dead by the U.S. Marshals Service, according to reports from ABC News. The declaration comes after remains were found in a remote area south of Leavenworth, Washington, during a drone search.
The search began after a T-shirt, similar to one worn by Decker around the time of the killings, was discovered in the area. A more detailed inquiry led to the revelation of human remains.While final DNA confirmation is pending, authorities believe the remains are those of Decker.
“We pray for the remains to be confirmed to be Travis’. We continue to be grateful to the police efforts in this case,and will always appreciate the world’s love and compassion and support for Whitney,” said Arianna Cozart,a lawyer representing whitney Decker,Travis Decker’s ex-wife,as reported by ABC News.
The U.S. Marshals Service has submitted documentation to the court justifying the cessation of the search for Decker.
