Tubi Doubles Down on Creator Economy with TikTok Partnership and Expanded Content

Tubi, Fox Corporation’s free ad-supported streaming service, is significantly expanding its investment in creator-driven content through a new partnership with TikTok and the launch of “Tubi for Creators.” These initiatives aim to bring digital-first content and creators to a wider audience, bolstering Tubi’s library and attracting a younger, more diverse viewership.

Tubi For Creators: A New Incubator for TikTok Talent

In July 2025, Tubi launched “Tubi for Creators,” an initiative designed to forge direct relationships with content creators. This program is now being amplified through a partnership with TikTok, establishing a “Creatorverse Incubator.” The incubator will select TikTok personalities to develop original long-form series – both scripted and unscripted – for Tubi’s platform. The first cohort of participants is expected to be announced later in the summer.

According to TikTok’s Global Head of Entertainment Partnerships, Dawn Yang, the partnership aims to “empower creators on our platform and throughout their career journey,” providing them with opportunities to expand their reach and impact.

Expanding Digital-First Content Library

This move builds upon Tubi’s existing efforts to curate digital-first content. As of August 14, 2025, Tubi’s collection of content from digital creators exceeds 5,000 episodes. New partnerships include Jimmy Donaldson (MrBeast), Alan’s Universe, Jomboy Media, CelinaSpookyBoo, and Steven He.

Tubi’s General Manager, Creator Programs & Executive Vice President, Business Development, Rich Bloom, emphasized the platform’s commitment to “building a bridge to Hollywood for creators” and providing a space for “bold, breakthrough work.”

Kudzi Chikumbu Appointed to Lead Creator Partnerships

To further accelerate its creator-focused strategy, Tubi appointed Kudzi Chikumbu as VP of Creator Partnerships in August 2025. Chikumbu joins Tubi from TikTok, bringing extensive experience in the creator economy to the role. He will work alongside Bloom to lead Tubi’s efforts in digital-first, creator-driven entertainment.

Tubi’s Growing Audience and Content Collection

Tubi currently boasts over 100 million monthly active users and offers a vast library of over 300,000 movies and TV episodes, alongside its growing collection of creator-led stories and Tubi Originals. The platform is actively targeting a younger, multicultural audience with content spanning genres like horror, sports, reality, food, and comedy.

Strategic Alignment with Fox Corporation

These initiatives are supported by Fox Corporation (NASDAQ: FOXA, FOX), demonstrating a strategic commitment to expanding Tubi’s reach and relevance in the competitive streaming landscape.
