Tommy Lee Jones’ Daughter, Victoria Jones, Died of Cocaine Toxicity, Medical Examiner Rules

The San Francisco Medical Examiner’s Office has determined that Victoria Jones, the daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones, died from the “toxic effects of cocaine,” ruling the manner of death an accident. She was 34 years aged.

Jones was found unresponsive at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco on January 1, 2026, according to reports. The San Francisco Fire Department responded to a “report of a medical emergency” and paramedics declared her deceased at the scene as reported by ABC7NY.

Victoria Jones was one of two children born to Tommy Lee Jones and his second wife, Kimberlea Cloughley. The couple were married from 1981 to 1996 and too have a son, Austin, 43 as confirmed by NBC Bay Area.

The family released a statement following her death, expressing their gratitude for the outpouring of support and requesting privacy during this hard time according to NBC Bay Area.

Earlier in her life, Victoria Jones appeared in several of her father’s films, including cameos in Men in Black II and The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, both directed by and starring Tommy Lee Jones. She also had roles in the 2005 film Sorry, Haters and an episode of the television series One Tree Hill. Her last on-screen appearance was in the 2014 film The Homesman as noted by ABC7NY.

Victoria Jones was also the granddaughter of former San Antonio mayor Phil Hardberger according to the San Antonio Express-News.
