Towson University Claims 2026 EAGL Gymnastics Championship
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The Towson University gymnastics team secured its third East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Championship title in four years on Saturday night, achieving a team score of 196.375. This marks the first time this season the Tigers have surpassed a score of 196.
The Tigers outperformed tournament host Long Island University (195.075), as well as the University of New Hampshire (194.775), Temple University (194.350), and George Washington University (194.125). Towson dominated in all team events, either winning outright or tying for the top score.
Individual Champions and Award Winners
Several Towson gymnasts achieved individual victories:
- Isabella Minervini tied for first on uneven bars with a score of 9.925.
- Isabella DeCroo tied for first on floor exercise with a score of 9.900.
