## Trackhouse racing Drivers Under Scrutiny After WWTR Cool-Down Lap

A pair of Trackhouse Racing drivers have faced scrutiny following the NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday at World Wide Technology raceway and it may warrant a closer look from the Sanctioning Body itself.

During the cool down lap, both Ross Chastain and Shane van Gisbergen drifted up the track up against the wall and then through the grass while transitioning onto the emergency lane that leads to pit road.

In real time, right behind him, Hendrick Motorsports driver Alex bowman observed the behavior and drew attention to it from those listening in via scanner or a radio chatter application.

Bristol Results Leave Playoff drivers on the Bubble

The NASCAR Cup Series completed its first race of the Round of 16 at Bristol motor Speedway, and the results have already begun to shake up the playoff picture. While christopher Bell secured a crucial win, several other playoff contenders found themselves in precarious positions.

Ross Chastain and shane van Gisbergen struggled on the high-banks, finishing 24th and 25th respectively. As playoff drivers, their cars were subject to post-race inspection. Chastain currently sits 19 points above the cutline, offering a pleasant buffer, while van Gisbergen finds himself just 15 points above elimination.

The pressure is on as the series heads to Texas Motor Speedway, where stage wins and consistent finishes will be vital for those on the wrong side of the provisional cutline.
