Transfer to the University of Maine: A Comprehensive Guide

Considering transferring to the University of Maine (UMaine)? Application Process and Deadlines

UMaine encourages prospective transfer students to submit their applications early. Specific deadlines vary depending on the semester you plan to enroll in:

• Fall Admission: Applications can be submitted after October 1 prior to the fall semester. The recommended submission date is March 1 for scholarship consideration. The FAFSA should be completed as soon as it becomes available, with a final filing date of June 1. Nursing applications reviewed after June 1 are based on space availability.
• Spring Admission: Students interested in spring enrollment are encouraged to apply as soon as possible during the preceding fall semester. Survey Engineering Technology applications completed after November 15 will be reviewed on a space-available basis.

Financial Aid
