Background and Experience
Prior to her role at Trinity, Beasley served as a faculty member, administrator, and vice provost at Vanderbilt University. She began her academic career in 1988 at the University of Texas at Austin, earning a bachelor of arts in Communication Studies from Vanderbilt University and a master’s and doctorate in Communication from the University of Texas at Austin. She has also held faculty positions at Texas A&M University, Southern Methodist University, and the University of Georgia.
