Trump Discusses Potential Putin-Zelenskyy Meeting

ABC News Senior Political Correspondent Rachel Scott questioned President Donald Trump about his recent phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The White House previously stated Putin pledged to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the near future.

“Mr. president, following your meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, how quickly did he indicate a desire to meet with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy?” Scott asked. “Currently,Russia reports no meeting is scheduled,nor is there an agenda.”
“That’s their decision,” Trump responded. “It takes two to tango, as I always say. They should meet, I believe, before I do, and perhaps finalize an agreement. I think it’s the right approach.”
