Two university students are being investigated by the Genoa Prosecutor’s Office accused of gang rape of a 20-year-old girl after a night at a nightclub. The suspects are 22 and 24 years old respectively and are semi-professional water polo players.
The events date back to 2022, when the accused were playing in the A1 water polo series. The two suspects also recorded the moments of sexual violence with the complainant and later shared them.
