Tyler Reddick Extends NASCAR Points Lead at Phoenix, Eyes Historic Win Streak

Tyler Reddick of 23XI Racing continues his dominant start to the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season, extending his points lead after the first stage of the Straight Talk Wireless 500 at Phoenix Raceway on March 1, 2026. Reddick has already made history by winning the first three races of the season – the Daytona 500, the EchoPark Speedway race in Atlanta, and the DuraMAX Texas Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas – a feat not accomplished since 1949.

Reddick’s Performance at Phoenix

Reddick secured a fourth-place finish in the first 60-lap stage at the 1.022-mile oval in Avondale, Arizona, adding seven points to his championship tally. He started the race in eighth position.

Points Standings After Stage One

The increased value of race wins – boosted from 40 to 55 points over the offseason – has significantly contributed to Reddick’s lead. Here’s a look at the top 10 drivers in the point standings following the first stage at Phoenix:

Rank Driver Points Gap
1 Tyler Reddick (No. 45, 23XI Racing Toyota) 193 0
2 Bubba Wallace (No. 23, 23XI Racing Toyota) 116 -77
3 Chase Elliott (No. 9, Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet) 114 -79

Looking Ahead

Reddick aims to become the first driver to win four consecutive races since Jimmie Johnson achieved the feat in 2007. The race at Phoenix is broadcast on Fox Sports 1, with Fox resuming NASCAR Cup Series coverage at the Kansas Speedway event on April 19.

Tyler Reddick drives the No. 45 Toyota Camry for 23XI Racing, co-owned by Michael Jordan. Other drivers for 23XI Racing include Bubba Wallace (No. 23), Riley Herbst (No. 35), and Corey Heim (No. 67).
