At least 39 personas have died after the impact of the Typhoon Doksuri in the Philippineswhich reached the Chinese shores this Friday, as reported by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).
The typhoon hit the north of the island of Luzon this week, where the capital is located, Manilawith violent winds and heavy rains, which have caused flooding and ground slidesand left the surveillance zone of the Asian archipelago the day before.
The mudslides have caused the death of at least 13 personasy 26 have died after capsizing a boat in a lake near Manila. A strong squall of wind startled the passengers who rushed to the left side of the ship, capsizing it.
But according to the local media ABS-CBN, the typhoon had left the area hours before the event, so the police are now investigating it.
The natural phenomenon has affected more than 330,000 inhabitants from various northern regions of the country, according to the NDRRMC.
