Aggies Defeat UC Riverside in Men’s Tennis Conference Match
DAVIS, Calif. – The UC Davis Aggies secured a 6-1 victory over the UC Riverside Highlanders in a Considerable West Conference men’s tennis match on Monday, March 25, 2026, at the UC Davis campus. This concludes the Highlanders’ two-game Northern California road trip.
Doubles Competition
The Aggies claimed the doubles point with a 2-0 lead. The doubles match featuring Owen Pearson and Ivaylo Simeonov for UC Riverside was unfinished, but the Highlander duo was ahead 4-3 when the doubles point was secured.
Singles Results
Michael Chang of UC Riverside was the lone Highlander to earn a singles win, defeating his opponent 6-3, 7-6 (7-5). Ivaylo Simeonov’s singles match went to a third set tiebreak, where he fell 11-9.
