UFC Fans Criticize Latest Main Event Announcement

The fans are up in arms about the UFC’s latest announcement.

The UFC Apex doesn’t look to be going anywhere anytime soon as the premier promotion continues to roll out their non pay-per-view events from the small venue.

As of late, UFC Fight Night events at the Apex have not been notably stacked to the brim in terms of name value, with the quality of the fight cards being criticized by the fans time and time again.

The MMA world isn’t too happy with the state of UFC Vegas 111 right now after seeing its headliner.

Gabriel Bonfim vs. Randy Brown gets no love as UFC main event

On Sunday, the UFC announced that unranked welterweight Randy Brown will be taking on #14-ranked contender Gabriel Bonfim in a five-round main event on Nov. 8.

Brown and Bonfim have never headlined a UFC card before, finally getting the chance to do so at the UFC Apex in las Vegas.

Brown rebounded from a split decision loss to Bryan Battle with a stunning knockout of Nicolas Dalby in April.

Simultaneously occurring, his opponent Bonfim is coming off a dominant unanimous decision victory over Trevor Pickett at UFC Vegas 99.
