UNH Gymnasts Harvey, McMullen, and Mullin Qualify for NCAA Baton Rouge Regional Championship

BATON ROUGE, LA – Sophomore Mady Harvey, junior captain McCall McMullen, and senior Serena Mullin of the University of New Hampshire (UNH) gymnastics team have qualified for the 2026 NCAA Collegiate Women’s Gymnastics Baton Rouge Regional Championship, hosted by Louisiana State University (LSU), on Thursday, April 2, at 2 p.m. ET on ESPN+.

The announcement of the top 36 teams, 12 all-around gymnasts, and 16 event specialists was broadcast live on ESPNU on Monday, based on National Qualifying Score (NQS). Harvey will compete as an event specialist on balance beam, McMullen as a floor exercise specialist, and Mullin will compete in the all-around.

Regional Lineup

In addition to host and No. 2-ranked LSU, the Baton Rouge Regional will feature No. 7 Stanford, No. 10 Michigan, No. 15 Clemson, Auburn, North Carolina, Utah State, Air Force, and Nebraska.

Competition Schedule

The three Wildcats will compete in Session I of Thursday’s second round. Mullin will rotate with Michigan, McMullen will follow Utah State on floor, and Harvey will perform on beam after Utah State. Stanford and North Carolina will also compete in Session I.

Athlete Highlights

Mady Harvey (Balance Beam)

Harvey, EAGL’s regular-season and EAGL Championship balance beam champion, is ranked 65th nationally and sixth in the Northeast with a beam NQS of 9.875. She won the EAGL balance beam championship with a score of 9.875 on March 21, 2026 . Harvey topped the beam podium nine times in UNH’s 12 meets and achieved a personal-best score of 9.925 against Air Force, Iowa State, and Bridgeport on January 18.

McCall McMullen (Floor Exercise)

McMullen tied for 10th in the Northeast and 109th nationally on floor with a 9.870 NQS. She recorded six podium finishes, including victories against Towson and Yale on February 1, at LIU on February 20, and versus Southern Connecticut State on March 4.

Serena Mullin (All-Around)

Mullin, an All-EAGL First Team gymnast on uneven bars, floor, and all-around, earned 12 first-place finishes in 12 meets. She is ranked 47th nationally and second in the Northeast with a 39.155 all-around NQS. Mullin achieved a career-high 9.850 on vault, personal-best 9.850 on bars, season-high 9.900 on floor, and a season-best 39.225 in the all-around.

Advancement to Nationals

The top two teams from each regional will automatically qualify for the national championships. The top all-around competitor and top event specialist from each regional (who are not on an advancing team) will also advance. The 2026 NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championships will be held April 16-18 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas .
