US Open Prize Money: Winners to Receive £3.74m in 2025
The winner of the men’s and women’s singles at the US Open will each pocket £3.74m ($5m) in prize money from the 2025 tournament in New York.
The prize pot has been boosted by 39% since 2024, when jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka each received £2.84m ($3.6m) for winning at Flushing Meadows.
The US Open has the biggest total prize money on offer of any Grand Slam, with £67.3m ($90m) shared out between the men’s, women’s, doubles and wheelchair competitors.
The other Grand Slams in 2025 have awarded £53.5m in prize money at Wimbledon, £47m at the Australian Open, and £49m at the French Open.

Here’s a breakdown of the prize money awarded at each stage of the 2025 US Open singles tournaments:
- First round: £43,848 ($58,000)
- second round: £76,989 ($102,000)
- Third round: £134,844 ($179,000)
- Fourth round: £238,252 ($316,000)
- Quarter-final: £384,526 ($511,000)
- Semi-final: £769,052 ($1,022,000)
- Runner-up: £1.87m ($2.4m)
- Winner: £3.74m ($5m)
Total prize money for the entire tournament is £67.3m ($90m).
