ZVVZ USK Praha Crowned EuroLeague Women Champions in Inaugural Final Six

ZVVZ USK Praha secured the EuroLeague Women championship at the inaugural Final Six tournament held in Zaragoza, Spain, on April 13, 2025. The Czech side defeated CIMSA CBK Mersin 66-53 in the title-decider, claiming their second EuroLeague Women title a decade after their first victory.

A Historic Victory for Praha

The triumph marks a fairytale ending to the coaching career of Natália Hejková, who secured her sixth EuroLeague Women title before her retirement. Praha’s journey to the championship included a Quarter-Final win against Beretta Famila Schio and a Semi-Final victory over back-to-back champions Fenerbahçe Opet.

Brionna Jones Named Final Six MVP

ZVVZ USK Praha center Brionna Jones was awarded the Final Six MVP, presented by Azulmarino. She averaged 19.0 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 2.3 steals across three games, achieving an efficiency of 24.7. Jones also led the Final Six All-Star Five, presented by Iberia, joined by teammates Valeriane Ayayi and Ezi Magbegor, along with Natasha Howard from CBK Mersin and Gabby Williams from Fenerbahçe Opet.

2025 EuroLeague Women Final Six Details

The 2025 EuroLeague Women Final Six, the 67th season of Europe’s premier club basketball tournament and the 28th edition since being rebranded as the EuroLeague Women, took place from April 9-13, 2025, at the Pabellón Príncipe Felipe in Zaragoza, Spain.
