UT San Antonio to Host 2026 University Excellence Awards
The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) will host its annual University Excellence Awards ceremony on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, recognizing the achievements of faculty and staff. The event will take place from 9:30 to 11 a.m. In the H-E-B Student Union Ballrooms (HSU 1.104/1.106) on the UTSA Main Campus.
Celebrating Achievements and Service
The University Excellence Awards celebrate the accomplishments of academic campus faculty and staff, encompassing exceptional teaching, innovative research, and impactful advocacy. The ceremony will also honor employees celebrating milestone years of service with the university. Distinguished Leadership in Attendance
UTSA President Taylor Eighmy, Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs Heather Shipley, and Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Andrea Marks will be present at the ceremony.
