Valenciennes, France – A municipal police officer in Valenciennes, northern France, has been indicted for voluntary homicide following the fatal shooting of a 31-year-old man during an intervention on February 18, 2026. Details of the Incident

Police were initially called to a residence in Valenciennes on Wednesday evening due to a noise complaint.
