Job Overview

the position focuses on driving growth objectives through strategic relationship building, regional territory management, and performance measurement, all aligned with the annual business plan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cultivating relationships with key industry players and executing deals that expand the presence of WorldHotels North America.

Key Responsibilities

  • Forge strategic relationships with owners, management companies, consultants, lenders, and other influential figures in the hospitality industry.
  • Generate leads and execute deals to meet established growth goals, ensuring compliance with all internal and external requirements.
  • Represent development initiatives for WorldHotels North America, presenting applications and deal specifics for approval.
  • Collaborate with the North American Development team to maximize opportunities.
  • Manage and adhere to the annual budget, aligning financial objectives with overall business goals.

Qualifications

Experience and Education

Candidates should possess a bachelors degree in economics, business administration, marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of sales experience, including management-level assignments within the lodging industry or a related sector, is required.

Essential Skills

  • A deep understanding of hospitality development, notably within the upscale and luxury segments, including feasibility studies, market analysis, financial projections, and project evaluation.
  • Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and construction documentation,with a strong grasp of industry standards and trends.
  • Expertise in microsoft Office suite and client database management.
  • Remarkable relationship management and influencing skills, capable of engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including root cause analysis and conceptual reasoning.
  • Strategic thinking and innovation skills to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, suitable for engaging with senior-level contacts.

Location and Travel

This position is based in Phoenix, Arizona. extensive travel is required, with an expectation of up to 75% of work time spent traveling. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance are required.
