Workers and young Villaclareños joined in a tribute full of symbolism, summoned to the Provincial Blood Bank to make a voluntary donation.

Víctor Daniel González Núñez, a medical student, said that this gesture is loaded with the incredible human sensitivity that the commander bequeathed. “It represents the ability of youth to contribute its grain of sand, from this trench so important that it is to save lives.”
