Water Supply Issues in Galway City Due to Storm Darragh

Uisce Éireann customers on the west side of Galway city, Moycullen, Barna, and surrounding areas are experiencing water supply issues or intermittent disruptions today.

This disruption is due to power supply issues at the New Clifton Hill Reservoir in Galway city, caused by high winds during Storm Darragh.

Uisce Éireann Working on Restoration

Uisce Éireann is working closely with the ESB to restore power supply as quickly as possible and to alleviate the water supply problems.

Vulnerable customers who have registered with Uisce Éireann receive direct communications from us for planned and unplanned outages lasting more than four hours.
