Waxahatchee and MJ Lenderman have announced details of a 2026 co-headline tour, which will see them perform across North america.
The two acts are set to come together for a run of shows next spring, where they will perform both solo and together. for Waxahatchee, it comes following the latest album ‘Tigers Blood’ being released in 2024, and Katie Crutchfield dropping the standalone track ‘Mud’ earlier this year, which was an outtake from the album’s recording sessions.
For Lenderman, his latest record was also released in 2024 and called ‘Manning Fireworks’. As that LP dropped, he has joined a number of artists sharing music to help those affected by Hurricane Helene and worked with Nate Amos from This Is Lorelei for the song ‘Dancing In The Club’.
When Lenderman and Waxahatchee hit the road together, dates kick off on April 13 at the Symphony hall in Atlanta, before continuing over the following two nights in Asheville and Richmond.
Later in the month, they will make stops at venues including The Met in Philadelphia, Brooklyn Paramount, Beacon Theater in New York City, and Wang theatre in Boston.
After further stops in Chicago, Toronto, Milwaukee and more, both wrap up the tour with four stops in May, taking place in Portland, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Waxahatchee and MJ Lenderman Reflect on a Collaborative 2024
2024 proved to be a creatively fertile year for both Katie Crutchfield, known professionally as Waxahatchee, and MJ Lenderman, marked by critically acclaimed solo work and a notable joint project. The two artists, alongside Crutchfield’s twin sister Allison, launched the band Snocaps earlier this year, surprising fans with a debut album featuring Lenderman as a guest artist.
The Snocaps project represents the first time Katie and Allison Crutchfield have released music together since their collaboration as P.S. Eliot in 2011. Brad Cook, who produced and engineered the majority of the Snocaps record, also contributed to the project.
Waxahatchee’s album, Tigers Blood, released in 2024, garnered notable praise, earning a perfect five-star review from NME. The review highlighted a shift in outlook within Crutchfield’s songwriting, noting, “These songs offer a more adult and grounded perspective than ones like ‘Lone Star Lake’ and ‘Evil Spawn’; they’re about the person who feels like home rather than the one who gets your blood pumping.” The reviewer further described the album as “a burning fire, and a warm summer evening at onc.” Tigers Blood also secured a place on NME’s list of the 50 Best Albums of 2024, landing at number 35.
Lenderman also enjoyed critical success with his fourth solo LP, Manning Fireworks, released in September 2024. The album was included on NME’s 50 Best Albums of 2024 list, and the track “She’s Leaving You” was recognized as one of the 50 best songs of the year by NME as well.
