Oregon Ducks Headed to Pasadena Rose Bowl
INDIANAPOLIS – The Oregon Ducks are headed to Pasadena! After securing the Big Ten championship with a thrilling 45-37 victory over Penn State, the No. 1 Ducks have earned a first-round bye in the College Football Playoff. This essentially guarantees their spot in the Rose Bowl on January 1st.
How Did Oregon Clinch Their Pasadena Trip?
As the top overall seed, Oregon will play against the winner of the first-round matchup between the No. 8 and No. 9 ranked teams. A unique aspect of the Rose Bowl’s agreement with the College Football Playoff is that the Big Ten champion always plays its quarterfinal game in Pasadena, California.
