Whitestone REIT has announced the acquisition of Ashford Village, a 7,564-square-foot retail property located in Houston, Texas. The shopping center is strategically positioned between Interstate 10 and the Westpark Tollway, at the intersection of South Dairy Ashford Road and Whittington Drive, benefiting from an average daily traffic count of approximately 32,500 vehicles.
Ashford Village is anchored by Seiwa Market, the largest Japanese supermarket in Houston, serving as a key destination for the area’s substantial Asian community. This acquisition marks Whitestone REIT’s third investment in the Houston market since 2022, demonstrating the company’s commitment to expanding its presence in this key metropolitan area.
Prior acquisitions include Lake Woodlands, completed in late 2022, and Garden Oaks, finalized in early 2024, further solidifying Whitestone REIT’s growing portfolio of strategically located retail properties.
