There’s nothing scarier than a jealous mother-in-law and a feisty girlfriend fighting over a mama’s boy. From their very first interaction on Prime Video’s The Girlfriend,something was certainly off about the dynamic between Laura (played by robin Wright),Daniel’s mother,and Cherry (House of the Dragon‘s Olivia Cooke),Daniel’s new girlfriend. Though it seemed like the two would get along for a while, Daniel’s near-fatal accident sent both Laura and Cherry into a spiral.
