Costentin noted that Beaubois checked several boxes as a local product with extensive high-level experience, but the financial terms proposed by the player’s agent proved unrealistic for the club.
He interested me in the sense that the player is available, and beyond his experience, he is a child of the club,
Costentin added. He ticked boxes. But the agent’s response at that time is light years away from Cholet, that’s all. It would give me great pleasure if we could agree, but I don’t believe it.
