Recall Details

Health Canada’s alert details the recall, which stems from a manufacturing defect in the USB charging cords. The cords utilize incorrect wiring material, potentially causing overheating when plugged into a charger. This overheating poses a risk of burns and fires to consumers.

Incident Reports and Units Affected

as of the recall announcement, three incidents have been reported in Canada since November 27, 2025. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported in connection with these incidents. Approximately 16,278 units of the affected True Wireless Earbuds were sold in Canada.

consumers can identify the recalled earbuds by checking the following information on the packaging:

* UPC: 774223568363
* SKU: 1545426

the recalled products were sold between July 17 and October 14, 2025. Products purchased before July 17, 2025, or those with a lot number of 11012025 are not included in this recall.

How to Obtain a Refund

consumers who own the recalled True Wireless earbuds should immediately stop using them. The product can be returned to any Giant Tiger store for a full refund.
