Man Arrested in Orkland Murder Investigation
Police arrested and charged a man with murder in Orkland on Sunday night, according to incident leader Ketil Stene of the Trøndelag police district.
Police received a report about the revelation of a deceased woman outdoors at Løkken Verk in Orkland municipality, Trøndelag, at approximately 9:41 PM on Saturday evening.
Authorities have not released further details about the woman at this time, citing the early stage of the investigation.
Operations leader Ketil Stene says police will continue working at the scene overnight.

The circumstances at the scene prompted a homicide investigation. Police beleive the arrested man is connected to the woman’s death, but they will not disclose whether they knew him prior to the incident.
“The arrest was uneventful, and the man was apprehended near where the woman was found,” Stene stated.
