Florida Atlantic Women’s Basketball Unveils 2025-26 Schedule

BOCA RATON,Fla. – Head Coach LeAnn Freeland and the Florida Atlantic women’s basketball team have announced their schedule for the upcoming 2025-26 season.

Florida Atlantic will play 12 non-conference games before diving into an 18-game American Conference schedule.The Owls’ 2025-26 schedule includes 15 home contests, highlighted by a big game against Florida. They’ll also compete in two tournaments – their own Thanksgiving Tournament and a Christmas tournament hosted by FIU.

Game times and TV information for conference matchups will be released later.

The Owls will start the 2025-26 season at home, hosting Florida Memorial on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena. This will be the 22nd time these two teams have played each other.

After their home opener, the Owls will hit the road for three games, starting with a trip to Kennesaw State on Friday, Nov. 7. This will be the eighth meeting between FAU and KSU.

FAU will then return to South Florida to play Miami on Thursday, Nov. 13 in Coral Gables. It’ll be the 21st matchup between the Owls and the Hurricanes.

The Owls will finish their early road trip on Thursday,Nov. 20, against South Alabama – their 17th meeting overall.

following their trip to Alabama, the Owls will welcome Florida to Boca Raton on Monday, Nov. 24. This marks the 10th time the two schools will face off, and the first time FAU has hosted the Gators sence 1995.

After Thanksgiving, Florida Atlantic will host its Thanksgiving Classic from Nov. 27-29. They’ll start with a game against Air Force on Nov. 27, then play wright State on Nov. 28. These tournaments will be the first-ever meetings between FAU and Air Force, and the second between the Owls and the raiders.
