W&L Women’s Swimming Dominates ODAC Relays

LEXINGTON, Va. – The Washington and Lee University women’s swimming team opened its 2025-26 campaign with a dominant performance at the ODAC Relays on Saturday afternoon at the W&L Natatorium. The Generals won seven of ten events and amassed 460 team points, outpacing second-place Randolph-Macon (334) and third-place Lynchburg (319) for the overall title.

W&L showcased its trademark depth and balance across every discipline, winning both the 200-yard medley relay (1:50.90) and 200-yard freestyle relay (1:40.97), along with victories in specialty and mixed-distance events. The Blue and White posted multiple top-three finishes in all but one race, with 15 different swimmers contributing to scoring relay squads throughout the meet.
