Louisville established a significant lead in the first half with an 11-0 run to go up 21-10. They later extended their advantage with a 10-0 run, pushing the lead to 37-16. The Cardinals entered halftime with a commanding 39-21 lead. They continued their strong shooting in the second half, pushing their lead to 60-38 before Syracuse attempted a comeback.
Syracuse’s Late Push Falls Short
Syracuse managed a 13-2 run to close the gap to 62-51, but Louisville maintained control and prevented the Orange from narrowing the deficit to single digits. Syracuse has now lost four consecutive games and six of their last eight.
