Xiaomi’s highly anticipated flagship phone, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, is set to launch globally on March 2, 2025, just ahead of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. While the exact release date for Indonesia remains unknown, the 15 Ultra is generating significant buzz, particularly in the photography community due to its rumored groundbreaking camera capabilities.

There’s speculation that Xiaomi might follow a strategy similar to last year’s with the Xiaomi 14, where the “pro-exclusive” version remained confined to the Chinese market while the global launch showcased the standard model. This could mean the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and a standard Xiaomi 15 will be unveiled globally, with a Xiaomi 15 Pro remaining exclusive to China.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is tipped to feature an industry-leading quad-camera system, headlined by a massive 200MP Samsung HP9 sensor, equipped with advanced optics and a 4.3x optical zoom. Secondary lenses include a 50MP ultrawide camera, another 50MP telephoto lens for further zoom capabilities, and a second, impressive 200MP telephoto lens.
