Report Pak Purbaya: New WhatsApp Channel for Tax & Customs Complaints
Jakarta,CNBC Indonesia – Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa has launched a new complaint service for the public concerning tax and customs issues. This WhatsApp-based service, called Report Pak Purbaya, allows citizens to directly report concerns.
After just two days of operation, Minister Purbaya has already received a variety of reports, all of which he is personally reviewing.
one report came from a whistleblower alleging misconduct by an employee of the Directorate general of Customs and Excise. The details of this report,and others,are being actively investigated.
This new channel aims to improve transparency and accountability within the tax and customs system. Citizens can now easily voice their concerns and contribute to a more efficient and fair process. Report Pak Purbaya provides a direct line of communication to the Minister, ensuring that issues are addressed promptly.
