Jeremy Renner‘s lawyer has called out the actor’s film partner, Yi Zhou, after she claimed they had finally put an end to their dispute.

The issue began with Zhou calling out the “Hawkeye” star in a series of Instagram posts in which she accused him of sending her unsolicited intimate photos and videos. The actor then fired back with a cease and desist letter, accusing the director of threatening him.

Now, Jeremy Renner’s lawyer, marty Singer, has slammed the director, claiming that the dispute has not yet been resolved and her story is “fabricated.”

The matter is far from resolved, and Ms. Zhou’s statements are a fabrication.”

He went on to say that Renner has not apologized and that they are still in active negotiations. Singer also stated that Zhou’s claims are a desperate attempt to portray herself in a positive light.The dispute stems from their work on the film “Rennervision,” which Zhou directed and Renner produced. Zhou alleges that Renner sent her inappropriate images and videos, while Renner claims that Zhou threatened him after he rejected her advances.

She claimed that Renner drank an entire bottle by himself and then had a mood swing that resulted in him yelling for nearly two hours.

Zhou further stated that his behavior left her fearing for her safety and prompted her to reach out to her loved ones to keep them informed.

“I had to location share to my team, my parents, and Disney colleagues in case something happens to me, they know were I am,” Zhou said in an interview with the Daily Mail. “I had to lock myself in a room to be safe, praying he woudl not come into the room at night, as he was really angry. I did not say a word; I was so scared for my life.”

Jeremy Renner Denies Ex-Girlfriend’s Abuse Claims

Jeremy Renner is strongly denying accusations of abuse made by his ex-girlfriend, Son Hee Park, also known as Zhou. His lawyer released a statement calling the claims “false, outrageous, and highly defamatory.”

Park filed a lawsuit earlier this week alleging years of physical and emotional abuse. She claims Renner made threats, including threatening to call Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on her.

Renner’s lawyer,Ed Singer,says Zhou’s accusations are a response to Renner rejecting her romantic advances and not promoting projects they worked on together. He states that Renner and Zhou had a brief romantic encounter in July, but Zhou was the one who initiated it.

According to Singer, zhou has “relentlessly and aggressively harassed and pursued” Renner for months without any reciprocation, aside from that single encounter on July 12, 2025.
