Two-Year-Ancient Snooker Prodigy Jude Owens Breaks World Records

Manchester, UK – Jude Owens, a remarkably gifted toddler from Manchester, England, has captivated the snooker world by becoming the youngest person to achieve two Guinness World Records. At just two years old, Jude has demonstrated an extraordinary aptitude for the sport, executing trick shots that challenge even seasoned players.

Record-Breaking Feats

On October 12, 2025, Jude Owens successfully completed a pool bank shot at the age of two years and 302 days, securing his first Guinness World Record. Weeks earlier, on an unspecified date, he achieved a snooker double pot at two years and 261 days old, further cementing his place in record books. BBC News reports that these achievements craft Jude the youngest person ever to perform both trick shots and one of the youngest double record holders in Guinness World Records history.

A Natural Talent

Jude’s father, Luke Owens, first noticed his son’s natural ability at home. “I started playing when I was 10 and obviously Jude started playing when he was two. But I’d say Jude’s got a lot more natural ability than myself,” Luke Owens stated, as reported by BBC News. He described how Jude instinctively took to the cue, demonstrating a natural technique from the very beginning. Initially, the family improvised with bar stools to allow Jude to reach the table, eventually sourcing a dedicated stool for his practice.

Early Recognition and Sponsorship

Jude’s talent has garnered attention within the professional snooker community. He made a special walkout appearance at the 2025 UK Snooker Championship and became the youngest known person to secure a snooker sponsorship. During the championship, he had the opportunity to meet prominent players such as Kyren Wilson, John Parrott, and Jimmy White, who acknowledged his skills. WAFB reports that Jude confidently declared he would win a match against his father, despite Luke remaining undefeated thus far.

Beyond Snooker

While excelling in snooker, Jude is also a devoted Manchester United fan, particularly admiring Bruno Fernandes. He is known to enthusiastically sing along to the song “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” showcasing his diverse interests.

Looking Ahead

Jude Owens’s early success has generated excitement about his potential future in the sport. His father expressed hope that Jude will continue to thrive and potentially become a world champion. YouTube provides footage of Jude’s remarkable skills, showcasing a promising career in the making.
