About ‘Attack on Titan’
Attack on Titan is based on the globally popular manga series by Hajime Isayama, which has sold over 140 million copies worldwide. The film depicts the final battle of the Survey Corps against the “earth tremor,” a catastrophic force threatening all life. The theatrical release covers the concluding chapters of the animated television series.
Previous Success and Audience Engagement
During its initial release last year, Attack on Titan attracted 950,000 viewers, achieving the top spot among exclusive releases at Megabox cinemas. The MX4D screenings, which provided immersive sensory effects simulating the “earth shaking,” proved particularly popular, accounting for approximately 20% of the total audience.
