The National University (NU) Bulldogs continued their strong start to the UAAP Season 88 men’s basketball tournament, securing an 84-68 victory over the Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Araneta Coliseum. This win marks the Bulldogs’ second straight double-digit victory, following their 72-57 defeat of the University of the East (UE) Red Warriors in the opening weekend.

NU’s victory was spearheaded by returning foreign student-athlete Omar John, who delivered a near double-double performance with 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting and 9 rebounds. Graduating star Jake Figueroa as well contributed significantly with 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. Jolo Manansala added 13 points and 9 rebounds for the Bulldogs, who are aiming to improve upon their seventh-place finish last season.
