Immunisation Update: A Thorough Conference for Healthcare professionals

Location: Mercure Hotel, Kent Street, Tamworth

This essential conference is designed to equip Authorised Nurse Immunisers, nurses, Doctors, Pharmacists, and Aboriginal Health Workers & Practitioners with the latest knowledge and best practices in immunisation. With vaccination rates remaining a critical public health concern – recent data from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare indicates a slight dip in childhood immunisation coverage for some vaccines in 2024 – staying current with advancements is more important than ever. This event provides a focused, practical update to enhance your skills and contribute to improved community protection.

conference Schedule & Access Options

The full-day conference will run from 8:30 am (registration) with a 10:00 am start, concluding at 4:00 pm. The program will cover key updates to the National Immunisation Program, emerging vaccine technologies, and strategies for addressing vaccine hesitancy – a challenge increasingly likened to navigating misinformation in other areas of public health, such as climate change denial.
