The Civil Guard has intercepted a 46-year-old man in O Porriño (Pontevedra), when he was driving an electric scooter on a road prohibited for this type of transport and under the influence of drugs.
An endowment of the traffic subsector of the town of Vigo surprised the offender while he was driving around the area viguesa parish of Valadares.
The man, visibly affected by the effects of narcotic substanceswas subjected to the test whose result was positive.
This person used the electric scooter to get around as an alternative to the car, since did not have a driving license because it expired.
The offender has been denounced for driving on a road prohibited for this type of vehicle, which entails a penalty of 200 eurosand for doing so under the influence of drugs, whose fine amounts to up to 1.000 euros.
